A Restful Sunday

We stopped by a farm on our way back from church,
its always nice to see "live" farm animals cos its so rare
seeing such stuff in singapore unless we walk past the
frozen section in NTUC...

A Picture of contentment =)

Reminds me of Psa 23:1-2
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters."

Its a blessing to be led each step, day by day.
Sometimes faith doesn't know the path ahead,
but bravely trusts in the one leading the way.

Just a few thoughts for you, my dear readers:
Do you find life a struggle, having to grab and scramble
your way thru? Or is it a matter of asking, seeking
and knocking and seeing doors open by no means
other than grace? Which would you ultimately prefer?
When would your "I shall not want" - contentment,
assurance and peace finally kick in?

Even feeding the sheep isn't an easy task, they're
choosy creatures too! This one wanted premium
grass (only the juiciest ones, cos i tried giving it some
hay-like grass but it "dao"-ed me)

We reached back and cooked lunch, and today's menu
was stir fried beef. I tried to make it as close to BK's mushroom
swiss as possible by putting in mushrooms and onions, turned
out better than I expected. Cooking is really fun, got some
recipes from luke and will be trying them out soon haha thnx dude

We're also getting better at cooking rice, so for lunch
we had some special herb-infused rice that came along
with our goulash seasoning.

Dinner was Ayam Panggang with pasta + spinach soup with egg.
Its kinda 3-in-one cos its malay + chinese + western, but we're really
fond of "chapalang" food and so long as they taste good and fill our
bellies its ok =)

All in all it was a day of rest, managed to skype back and keep in
touch with my family and friends too. New Life YF Anniv's comin up,
so do pray that everything will go smoothly, looking forward to
being "present" with you guys during the anniv via skype haha
